ISTE standards
ISTE Standards
ISTE standards are :are the definitive framework for successfully implementing digital strategies to positively impact learning, teaching and leading in our technology-powered world.
Our class is based on the ISTE standards. In our project we have to follow these standards and applyed them to our work and our process. One of the ISTE standards that we are following in our project is ISTE standard #3 ( Knowledge Constructor).
One of the indicators from standard #3 is 3a -Students plan and employ effective research strategies to locate information and other resources for their intellectual or creative pursuits.
We have applied this standard in our project by using more than one source that has been backed up by experts such as PETA and Cruelty Free Kitty, to approve that the information or cosmetic are cruelty free. We use this strategy to find reliable resources and not provide false information in our website. This also applies to the indicator 3b - Students evaluate the accuracy, perspective, credibility and relevance of information, media, data or other resources.

Indicator 3d- Students build knowledge by actively exploring real-world issues and problems, developing ideas and theories and pursuing answers and solutions.
Throughout our project I as a person who uses make up have learned and gained more knowledge about what makeup brands are and aren't cruelty free. Our project is contributing to fighting against cruelty free and we hope to change make up others use by providing them with this idea of our website.

Indicator 3c- Students curate information from digital resources using a variety of tools and methods to create collections of artifacts that demonstrate meaningful connections or conclusions.
In our project whenever we collect resources or useful information we organize it in a google doc shared with all the group so we will all have access to it, and are all able to add useful information. This will help us be able to create a final project that has a meaningful purpose that reflects our learning.
